Dr Andrew McShea
Special Advisor, USA Andy McShea is currently Chief Operating Officer of Theo Chocolate in Seattle, WA. He was formerly Vice President, Biology & Chemistry at Combimatrix Corporation and prior to that with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. He is also an SBIR board review for the US NIH. Andy has a Ph.D. from the University of Vienna and completed his post-doctoral studies at Harvard Medical School. He has a BSc. from the University of Wales.
Birgir Omar Haraldsson Special Advisor, Iceland Birgir Ómar Haraldsson has an extensive business background covering finance and investment. Birgir is currently with IceCapital plc and was formerly Chairman of Securities Firm, Verðbréfaþjónusta sparisjóðann, Chairman of the Savings Fund of Kopavogur, Chairman and later Managing Director of Líftæknisjóðurinn ltd (The Biotech Fund). Other former roles include Investment Manager at EFA Ventures and General Manager, Corporates at Islandsbanki. He is a Certified Mortgage, Ship and Company Broker with an MSc with Distinction in Shipping, Trade and Finance and a BSc in Engineering, specialising in Naval Architecture. He was born in Reykjavik and currently lives in Iceland with his family.
