Asutosh Yagnik Partner, Business Transformation Asutosh Yagnik is an experienced management consultant, having worked both independently and with Cap Gemini (formerly Gemini Consulting). He has worked extensively with global blue chip companies across a wide range of industries including Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Telecoms, Professional Services, Oil & Gas and Energy & Utilities. Most recently he was an interim manager for the European consulting arm of a leading technology software company in the pharmaceutical sector, helping the firm establish a formal consulting practice and develop it's strategy towards longer term sustainability and customer retention. He has focused on delivering business transformation through a combination of strategy, operational process improvement/re-engineering and change management. By leveraging his analytical, business and leadership skills in multi-cultural environments, Asutosh has helped clients implement practical solutions that deliver sustainable business benefits. Besides project delivery, he has experience in business development and executive coaching. Prior to consulting, Asutosh worked for several years in pharmaceutical and biotechnology R&D. latterly at European subsidiary of Merck & Co. and previously as a Fellow in Exeter University. His work involved a at the forefront of drug and vaccine design, bio-and chemo-informatics, virology and gene therapy. In addition to core research, he assessed the impacts of complex technology on business strategy and was involved in delivering business process improvements in the pre-clinical phases. He also helped to manage the associated change programmes. Asutosh is a published Chartered Chemist, Chartered Scientist and Professional Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and has presented at several international conferences. He holds Bachelors, Masters and PhD degrees from Exeter University and a diploma from Birkbeck College, London. He has recently been invited to become a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce, where he aims to be involved in their projects on environmentally sustainable business practices and developing capable populations.
